I am a qualified BSc (HONS) Physiotherapist graduating from the University of Brighton and I am registered with the CSP and the HCPC. Since I have completed various post graduate training namely Pilates and I am also a credentialed McKenzie therapist. I specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from 2007 and have a keen interest in sports and rehabilitation. Initially I worked in Gloucestershire (where I grew up) and then moved to Warwickshire in 2010.
I completed my Mat level courses with the APPI in March 2011. Pilates is wonderful as it is open to everyone at any level and I have seen it work first hand for a variety of people with different physical conditions. I regularly use equipment within my classes but change them weekly as some pieces of equipment are a bit like marmite for some clients.
In my spare time I look after our 2 young children with my husband and we are all very active with different pursuits but namely hockey. The rest of my time is spent with our Black Labrador, who is a retired brood bitch for Guide Dogs.
