I graduated from Cardiff University in 2017 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. My early career took me through the major Birmingham hospitals, including the QE, where I gained experience in everything from Trauma & Orthopaedics to Intensive Care.
It was during these rotations that I found my real passion—neuro-rehabilitation. I briefly worked in South Wales, before moving back to Birmingham in 2021 to join the Community Healthcare Trust. There, at specialist centres like West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre and Moseley Hall, I trained in techniques such as Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES).
Since then, I’ve gone on to work at CERU in Leamington Spa and now with CINSS, the community stroke and neuro team in Coventry. My main professional interests are stroke and MS rehab, and I’m a member of both the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health & Care Professions Council. I am passionate about promoting exercise to help manage life-long conditions and improve wellbeing and quality of life.
When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me outdoors—running (I completed the London Marathon in 2022 for the MS Society), walking my dog or in the kitchen baking. I aim to make each class challenging but fun, and ultimately help you feel stronger both mentally and physically!!
