We are delighted to offer you the chance to try out some classes next term.
These studio classes will be taken by Leah
They will be mixed ability classes with options for easier and more challenging versions.
The classes are £13.50 each
Sculpt sequence - Mon 2nd March 11.30am and Thurs 5th March 11.30am
This class is based on continuous movement, it will help increase fluidity through the body, as well as coordination from the upper to the lower body. You will get the enjoyment of flowing from one exercise to the other, with plenty of variations and progressions. We will focus on sequences of exercises, allowing to build dance like Pilates choreography to help not only your strength but your flexibility too.
Ballet pilates fusion - Mon 9th March 11.30am and Thurs 12th March 11.30am
This class will focus on mat work as well as standing work. The slow controlled ballet movements will improve your core stability to help everyday ease of movement and balancing. This class will also increase lower body strength focusing on glutes, hamstrings, inner thighs and much more. I will be using classical mat Pilates for our Mat work strength and a range of ballet like standing exercises focusing on alignment, correct engagement and control of the body.
If you are wanting to fire up the legs, glutes and core this class is for you!
Mindful flexibility stretching class - Mon 16th March 11.30am and Thurs 19th March 11.30am
This class is to restore or increase the length or flexibility of muscles. Our focus in this class is to warm the body up ready for stretching. During the stretching phase of the lesson we will use varied methods and techniques such as maintenance stretches and developmental stretches. This is a mindfulness class, enjoying the use of our breath work to melt into our stretches more. The stretching will help ease any aches and pains you feel in day to day life and is a great recovery class for stiffness and fatigue. Enjoy slowing down and relaxing the mind and body in this mindful stretching class.
Mon 23rd March 11.30am and Thurs 26th March 11.30am - we will offer whichever of the above has the best feedback.
